Spirit Lake Art... I paint, where I long to be — at the water’s edge, with an open sky, taking in a deep breath of crisp mountain air. — These moments are not always peaceful; they are shaped by a restless spirit.

Terry Allred

My art is a life lived in nature —

My art is a life lived in nature —

My art is a life lived in nature —

standing at the edge of the water.

Not every encounter is peaceful.

My art is a life lived in nature —

 Sometimes calm. Sometimes fierce.

Listening to the breeze

Listening to the breeze

 —   mountain air singing through pine.

At the edge of the water, see what the wilderness reveals...

Reflections of Moose Pond

Not every meeting with the wild is fierce.
Sometimes, strength lowers its head to drink.

Here, the Monarch bull moose stands in mirrored water — power resting in stillness. — the wilderness reflecting itself in quiet harmony.

Here my video is the inspiration for the original painting, Reflections of Moose Pond, continuing the visual narrative first introduced in Monarch of Moose Pond.
